Indoor Arena

The large and bright 100x200 foot indoor arena is immediately accessed from the stable.  Multiple cupolas accent the roof centerline providing clearstory lighting and large slider windows flank both long sides of the area providing additional natural lighting and stunning views of the property.  In addition to the abundant natural light, the indoor arena is outfitted with complete coverage of EquiLumination lighting to provide no-glare, no-shadow, daylight quality light.

The arena features state-of-the-art dust-free footing designed, manufactured and installed by Footings First LLC (http://footingfirst.com).  Beverly’s indoor footing starts with high-quality silica sand that is then blended with a fiber from German GeoTextiles using a proprietary formula.  The synthetic textile felt in the GGT fiber helps stabilize the footing, prevents packing, retains moisture longer and creates good cushion.  The sand fiber blend mixture is then blended with a “Stay Put” additive to complete the dust-free, long-lasting, ideal arena footing.

A 55inch kickboard surrounds the inside of the indoor arena and is punctuated by a large sliding door on each long side, and two automatic lift doors on the courtyard (western side).  Additional sliders flank the veranda and observation area on the eastern end of the arena.

The western short side of the arena is lined with 6 foot high mirrors above the kickboard and in between the automatic doors.

Importantly, for those frigid winter months, the arena is heated with four industrial strength propane heaters that are strategically mounted and vented to the outside. The arena is also wired with an audio system for playing music or making announcements and a video system for recording.  In addition, there is a mounted security camera.

Adjacent to the arena is a large storage area for convenient storage of jumps, cavaletti, lunging and other training equipment. The large indoor observation area leads out to a covered outdoor veranda with an outdoor BBQ, and more commanding views of the north end of the property.
