About Us
Our Philosophy
Founded in 2010 and rooted in the heart of Virginia’s Piedmont — the historic heart of Virginia’s horse country — Beverly Farm was built on a simple conviction: access to horses makes people more capable, more grounded, and more connected — to themselves, to one another, and to the land that sustains them. From the lesson ring to the show arena to the polo field, Beverly has spent over a decade promoting access to riding and excellence in horse care to that end.
Beverly’s programs — from first lessons on a school horse, to local and destination show circuits, to nationally recognized polo leagues — create thoughtful pathways that allow riders of all ages and aspirations to experience horses through excellent instruction, exceptional horse care, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Expanding access, however, does not mean lowering the standard. Beverly’s facilities were purpose-built for exceptional horsemanship, with unparalleled amenities for every aspect of year-round care and riding. Its lesson and training programs are defined by a driven, unrelenting rigor and professionalism that respects clients’ time and goals.
Beyond the program itself, Beverly’s land is forever protected in conservation easement, ensuring that its open space will be preserved and that the values and the opportunities it creates will endure.
Providing access to professional horsemanship, maintaining a standard of excellence, and the protection of horse country are not separate pursuits but a single, interconnected commitment. By experiencing horses through Beverly, people are able to enjoy open spaces, the horse community, and the transformative power of horses themselves.
