Yes! Riders can absolutely be led around in the poles class. It’s a great way for new riders to gain confidence and get started in the show ring.

Yes! Riders may ride multiple rounds in the same class, but the rules and fees differ by discipline. Here’s how it works:🏇 Jumper DivisionsEach additional round is entered as a separate round in the same class number (e.g., #50, #51).Each round will be judged and scored individually.You will be charged a separate entry fee for each round.🐴 Hunter DivisionsOnly one judged round is permitted per class.Additional rounds may be taken as unjudged warm-up rounds.These are entered under Class #200 and are not eligible for points, placings, or ribbons.Be sure to notify the in-gate if your round is unjudged before entering the ring.🔢 Rider Numbers & MembershipsEach rider must have a unique number for points tracking with VHSA, BHSA, or USHJA.For VHSA/BHSA, be sure to list your horse’s owner’s name exactly as it appears in your membership.For USHJA Outreach, include your USHJA member number—membership is free and required for points.💡 Need help adding a round or updating your entry? 🔹 Your Class Will Still Run Whenever Possible If there is a judge available and the class is scheduled, we will still allow your class to go—even if you are the only entry or there are fewer than the required minimum for points or placings.🔹 Points May Not Be Awarded For VHSA/BHSA points to be awarded, at least three riders must complete each over fences class in hunter divisions (or two in jumper divisions). If this threshold is not met, your ride will still be judged and scored, but the class will not be eligible for association points or placings.🔹 You May Still Receive a Ribbon or Prize At the discretion of the show manager and if time allows, we may still award ribbons, prizes, or feedback from the judge to recognize your effort—even if the class is not point-eligible.NOTE FOR LONG STIRRUP EQUITATION: Pursuant to BHSA rules, long stirrup points will count as long as there are two eligible riders: BHSA requires three (3) entries to fill a class, with the exception of: Leadline, Pre-Short Stirrup, Short Stirrup Equitation, Long Stirrup Equitation, Student Equitation, Working Hunter and all Jumper Classes, all of which must have at least 2 eligible entries for BHSA points to count. Yes, but there is a fee for documents not provided on the Strider platform, whether they are provided before the closing date or afterwards. Remember, we do not charge an office fee because we provide the Strider platform for you to manage your entries directly. If you do not manage your entries and send the supporting documentation to us, an administration fee will apply.To avoid this fee, please add your coggins to your entry using Strider. The prize list provides that entries must be scratched on Strider before the Closing Date to receive any refund. Any refunds after the Closing Date are subject to a $50 Admin Fee per entry.A change or scratch after the closing date does not result in a REFUND absent special circumstances, such as a class being canceled outside of show management’s control, and then, only upon email request to the show secretary at bevshowsec@gmail.com.If your class is canceled by management (not by your scratch), and it does not run at all, you may request a refund or credit by emailing bevshowsec@gmail.com within 5 days of the show. Requests will be reviewed and accommodations may be granted in management discretion.However, any payment matters relating to entries for these or any other reasons are handled after the show so that we can spend show day getting people in the ring!

Most local hunter/jumper shows, especially those recognized by VHSA or BHSA like the Beverly Show Series, follow a flexible but respectful standard for rider attire. Most hunters wear jackets. Most jumpers do not and instead opt for tidy collared shirts. Very rarely does anyone braid.

Spectators are welcome to come and watch. There is no charge to attend. Please note that all general parking is in the trailer parking area and there is a short walk from the parking to get to the rings. We love dogs but please do not bring any dogs to Beverly.There is no admittance to the barn as this area is reserved for boarders.

Currently, we are planning to run the show outdoors. This will be a split venue show with the jumpers in the Grand Prix ring on the northern side of the facility and the hunters in the Main Arena on the southern side of the facility. Map:
