Training Facilities

Indoor Arena

The large and bright 100’ x 200’ indoor arena features multiple cupolas accenting the roof, large windows with abundant natural light and stunning views of the property.  The arena features state-of-the-art dust-free footing, a custom combination of high-quality silica sand blended with synthetic textile fibers to produce an excellent footing that retains moisture and creates good cushion for jumping.  With the added comfort of heating in the winter and cooling in the summer, the arena is also wired with a sophisticated audio and video system. The large indoor observation area leads out to a covered veranda with an outdoor BBQ, offering commanding views of the north end of the property.

Grass Derby Field

Behind the indoor arena is a 300’ x 450’ grass derby field and a cross country schooling course for three-day eventing designed by gold medal Olympian David O’Connor. The centerpiece of the course is a water and bank complex located at the western edge. The course flows naturally from the complex to a telescoping ditch and mound jump complex.

Outdoor Jumping Arena

Newly installed in 2016, a 280’ x 180’ sand and fiber outdoor arena provides a training area for show jumping. Irrigated and dragged daily, the footing in the upper arena is meticulously maintained.

Outdoor Dressage Arena

Situated on arguably the most scenic part of the farm and overlooking the meandering creek and lush woods is the 200’ x 100’ dressage arena. Also watered and dragged daily, the dressage arena is in a sheltered and private location and always ready for competition-style schooling.

Bermuda Grass Polo Field

Completed in 2019, the regulation-sized Bermuda grass polo field sits on 13 acres on the western edge of the property and accommodates fast, mid-to high-goal polo practices and matches.  Also fully irrigated with excellent drainage, the field is fast drying after rain and maintains its lushness and footing during the occasional dry spells in the summer.
