Did you know that the Wakefield School in Northern Virginia offers an equestrian team in BOTH middle and upper schools? The teams practice out of Beverly Equestrian (just 7 minutes away in The Plains) on Beverly school horses with their USEF Safe-Sport certified, insured, and trained coaches.
This program helps this busy students fit riding into their busy lives:
Students travel to Beverly on school buses during their PE block so riding lessons are fully integrated into their school day. No parent shuttling required!
Students ride Beverly horses – No horse ownership required!
Students compete in the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA), a national organization of shows organized by “host barns” that also provide the horses for the riders to ride in competition. No trailering to shows required!
