🏅Warm Up Procedures for Our High(er) Jumpers (2'9" and above) at the Beverly Winter Show Series🏅

Beverly

Updated: Feb 17

To ensure everyone has a fair chance to warm up on optimal footing, we have implemented a special rotation system for our riders in the first jumper window (classes at 2'9" and above) who go first. Given the early-morning chill that may make outdoor warming up impractical, these riders will have priority access to the indoor arena.

Warm-Up Procedure

  • Indoor Warm-Up Access: Riders in the first jumper window will warm up in the indoor competition arena before their rounds.

  • Fences Provided: The arena will include a vertical and an oxer that can be adjusted during the warm up window.

  • Rotation Schedule:

    • Groups of four riders will warm up at a time.

    • Each group will have an allotted time for practice jumps before transitioning to their rounds.

After each group, the next group of four riders will warm up until all riders have competed or the window ends, whichever occurs first.

Rider Guidelines

  1. Check-In: All riders must check in with the ingate to be assigned to a rotation group.

  2. Be Ready: Promptly enter the arena when it is your group's turn.

  3. Safety First: Be mindful of spacing and communicate clearly with fellow riders during your warm-up.

USE YOUR TIME RESPONSIBILY.

Please use your warm-up time responsibly to ensure a smooth and fair experience for all competitors.

  • This is NOT a time to teach lessons or conduct extensive training. The warm-up window is specifically designed for quick preparation ahead of your round.

  • Riders or trainers who are inconsiderate or misuse this time may be asked to leave the arena—or potentially the show—at management’s discretion.

Respect for Fellow Riders

  • Be mindful of your allotted time and considerate of other riders waiting for their turn.

  • Cooperation ensures that everyone can benefit from the indoor footing and keeps the event on schedule.

Time Limit

  • The higher jumper class window concludes promptly at 10:00 AM to allow the remainder of the day’s classes to proceed as scheduled.

Thank you for your understanding and adherence to these guidelines. Let’s work together to make this event safe, efficient, and enjoyable for all! 🐴
